Employment

Ed Mullen has an active employment law practice. He represents individuals in employment discrimination claims (such as on the basis of race, ancestry, national origin, sexual orientation and gender identity, pregnancy, age, disability and gender) before the Chicago Commission on Human Relations, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as in state and federal courts.

Ed also represents employees seeking to assert their legal employment rights, including union contract rights, in an amicable manner with their employers, including negotiating reasonable accommodations to perform their job responsibilities.

Ed regularly represents employees and employers in disputes relating to employee wages and benefits, employment termination and severance agreements, trade secrets, unemployment compensation, and other employment-related disputes.
